Captured Dreams - Every Child Matters

"Captured Dreams" is a powerful black-ink illustration inspired by the Every Child Matters movement. At its heart is a Dreamcatcher, a symbol of protection, hope, and the safeguarding of our future generations. Inside it, three children are depicted: a powwow dancer, a hockey player, and a young runner. Each child represents culture, sport, expression, and the countless dreams help by Indigenous youth.

The Every Child Matters campaign raises awareness about the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools in Canada, honouring Survivors, their families, and the children who never returned home. This design carries that message forward, reminding us that Indigenous children, their dreams, and their futures must always be protected, nurtured, and celebrated.

A portion of the proceeds from every sale of Captured Dreams goes directly back to First Nations communities supporting youth programs, cultural initiatives, and grassroots projects that uplift and empower the next generation.
